What can we learn from Minnesota? They have implemented this policy in their public schools. Meanwhile, Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds continues to resist federal food aid that could benefit Iowans.
Update 1: The Des Moines Register is reporting DMARC had record all-time high demand for it’s network of food pantries last month. Since June 23, 1 in 4 Des Moines residents have used one of its pantries. Food insecurity is at record highs, and universal lunches could help offset some of the tremendous inflation in grocery prices.
